Working with me one-on-one means partnering with someone who has walked through shame and come out the other side, not dimmed, but brighter. Not broken, but whole.

If you're ready to face what's kept you frozen, name what you've been carrying, and move toward the joy and freedom you deserve, this is for you.

What You Can Expect

  • Deep, honest exploration

We'll work together to uncover and dismantle the shame patterns that have shaped your life, not through force, but through fierce love and patient unraveling.

  • Non-coercive, body-centered approach

Your body holds wisdom about what feels safe and what doesn't. We'll work with your nervous system, not against it, allowing healing to unfold organically.

  • Practical navigation of real decisions

Whether you're grappling with boundaries, considering estrangement, or trying to stay in relationship, we'll explore your options without agenda or prescription.

  • Permission to choose yourself

Flourishing isn't selfish. Living fully isn't a betrayal. You'll learn to make these truths feel real in your body, not just your mind.

I don't believe in hacking your mindset or forcing yourself into transformation. I don't have a proprietary framework or a trademarked system.

But I've been where you are. I know what it's like to carry shame so heavy it bows your shoulders and becomes your reality.

I also know what's possible on the other side, and I’d love to meet you there.

Who Can Benefit From Coaching

You might be an adult daughter navigating a painful relationship with your mother. You might be a mother trying to break generational patterns. You might simply be someone who has carried shame for so long you've forgotten what it feels like to flourish.

You're ready if you:

  • Want to dismantle the shame that keeps you small

  • Are willing to face difficult truths with compassion

  • Crave joy but struggle to make it feel safe

  • Need support navigating complex family relationships

  • Are tired of self-help that demands you "hack" yourself into healing

  • Want a guide who's honest, warm, and has done this work herself.

This is not for you if:

That said, we might not be a good fit if you are looking for someone to tell you exactly what to do for a quick fix, or if you are unwilling to sit with discomfort. (I have become extremely comfortable with the uncomfortable and can help you learn to sit with it as well.)

This isn't a rigid program or a one-size-fits-all formula. It's a collaborative partnership tailored to your needs, your nervous system, and your timeline.

*Coaching is not appropriate if you are in in acute crisis or need clinical support.

"This work will give you the tools to take back your life."

I have struggled in my relationship with my mother literally since I was born. The death of my father meant that suddenly I had to “deal with” my mother, after years of carefully cultivated distance.

Karen showed me how to look at the chain of thoughts that kept leading me to anger, stress, and anxiety and to realize that while I could not control an initiating event, I could control the thoughts/meaning I attached to it.

One of the biggest takeaways, which Karen gave me on Day One: Guilt is better than resentment. Totally the opposite of what I had been thinking, because of the “energy” I got from being angry.

If you are having trouble stepping off the crazy carousel of guilt, resentment and anger, this work will give you the tools to take your life back.

"Karen met me as a peer. She loved me fiercely and was relentlessly on my side."

I've done a lot of therapy, a lot of personal development. I've been coached before. This was different. Karen met me as a peer. She loved me fiercely and was relentlessly on my side. She would call me out on being cruel to myself when I didn't even hear it. She used her own lived experience, along with a ridiculous amount of research and resources, to show me how human I am. How I'm not inherently broken. How there was some beautiful logic to how I was surviving a really screwed up situation. —Melanie C.
